So I was out again last night...

... cause this morning is trash pick-up day in my neighbourhood. So you KNOW what that means, right? :)

So here is the stuff I found:

As cute as this is, I won't be keeping it. I have no place for it. But I dearly wanted to rescue it from a garbage truck death! I can't believe it was thrown out. So... i will be bringing it to the thrift store and hopefully somebody else can put it to good use. :)

Now this, I can use:

Someone had a "sold" sign in front of their house and lots of trash and opened cardboard boxes outside for people to look thru. I found this:

And I KNOW I've seen that little driving rabbit somewhere! WHERE?!!

My kids are too old for something like that, so it will be a gift.

I also found this long... spice rack? I imagine? We're redoing our kitchen, so it might be useful. I can always repurpose it in my scrapbook studio too!

A closer look:

Now wouldja look at THIS?

Great big shutter doors. Brand new. In the TRASH!! *shakes head*

I think they;re too big for my son's hockey room (his closet is super small), but they might fit in my middle son's room. If not, transformation ahead!

I also found this adorable hutch for a child's desk:

It will most likely go in my own scrap room ;)

So there ya have it.
Just more stuff for me to work on. I know, I know. It's just... an addiction! Terrible...

This post is part of Junkin Monday @ Cottage Charm & Family Inspiration!

Si tu regardes la chambre de notre bébé (http://blogladybird.blogspot.com/2009/09/chambre-de-ptit-prout.html), tu verras que nous avons fait une belle trouvaille côté panier aussi... nous l'avons placé au pied du grand arbre...

I cannot believe all that stuff was in the trash! I sure wish my neighbors would throw away stuff like that!

No curbside garbage like that around here! Could that be a magazine rack?

I love that rescued something out of the trash just to keep it from going to the landfill....love it!

I'm also loving that spice rack...I'd fill it up w/ spice jars full of glitters!

Nice to meet you!

Great, great finds! I think it's great that you rescued something from the trash to be passed onto someone else. I only wish I had time to drive around on garbage day :) p.s. I'm so happy to meet a fellow Montrealer - how cool is that?!!

WOW! Way to go! I could use several of those things. So nice that they're not being destroyed.

Ok...we are really thinking that we need to go beyond our neighborhood! We NEVER get anything like this around our town on trash day....so fortunate you are!
