I got it for a mere 50 cents. But I hated the gold. I like gold jewelry, but i hate gold *anything* in my house. So it HAD to go!
And that chain HAD to go too! Too much visual clutter for nothing!

I have a confession to make: I saw you background and fell in love with it. You see, I've always been a night owl so I collect owls and ...shhh! I even have a small owl tattoo! So of course I had to have this background!! It's perfect for me!
I love this whole display! I want to think that's part of a sheet of scrapbook paper in the frame, but at the same time the frame looks like it might be too big for that... ?

I have a key like this and haven't been able to figure out why I don't use it. it's the GOLD - I didn't think about painting it until I saw yours. And the chain - you're right, that has to go too. Thanks for the idea!
