Participating for the first time http://asoftplacetoland-kimba.blogspot.com/2009/09/diy-day-and-giveaway.html. Go check out other big or small do-it-yourselves transformations and her giveaway! My transformation is really small. But I really like it!!
DH loves coffee. I don't. At all. LOL!
When he bought a big jar of coffee at Costco a few years ago, there was a free metal jar that came with it. He's been storing his coffee in it since.
Nice enough, but seriously, I hate hate hate seeing it on the counter. It looks... i dunno... cluttered? Too much stuff going on on that jar.
Ahhhh SO much better!!
I spray painted it white, let dry. I added scrapbook stickers (From Doodlebug Design). Spray painted over everything with black. Once dried, I removed the stickes, and voilà!!
I love it!! Simple, but oh so effective!

Wow, very cute! It's my first time on DIY Day too! It's been fun. :-)
It looks so much better now! Love how you used the stickers as a reverse stencil. Genius!

Cute coffee jar!! I love the idea of spray painting over the stickers and then removing them. Two thumbs up. :) Thanks for the visit!
I LOVE it! Isn't it amazing what a little spray paint can do for just about anything!

Love it!!!!!!!!!
I like this a lot. I have a haul of old tins that I've gotten over the year. It seems wasteful to toss them. Maybe I should try this.
Great job, looks very different. I never thought about doing the stickers that way, will have to try that one
